VS Nero di Troia, Spumante Rosato

The VS Nero di Troia, a sparkling rosé wine from Villa Schinosa, embodies our commitment to celebrating Apulia’s native grape varieties, with a special focus on Nero di Troia, a cornerstone of our winemaking production. This extra dry sparkling rosé blends modernity with tradition, celebrating the ancient origins of the grape variety through a winemaking method that preserves its essence. The early harvest and meticulous attention during vinification create a lively sparkling rosé, with a fine and persistent perlage that introduces a characteristic varietal bouquet, enriched by impeccable freshness and acidity. The maturation, following the Charmat method, further enhances the complexity of Nero di Troia, offering a unique tasting experience, perfect for pairing with light appetizers, seafood, shellfish, and fish-based first courses. Served chilled, around 10°C, the VS Nero di Troia Rosé Sparkling Wine invites the discovery of the richness and versatility of Apulian wines, in a toast that unites history and innovation.

100% Nero di Troia

Trained on trellises with the Guyot system on predominantly tuffaceous-calcareous soils with a density of 4500 plants per hectare.

The Nero di Troia grape harvest was brought forward to mid-September to preserve its acidity and freshness. The soft pressing of the grapes preceded a short maceration and the static and cold clarification of the must; the fermentation of the base wine took place at constant temperatures always below 16°C.

After the sparkling process, carried out with the Charmat method in a 50hL stainless steel autoclave, periodic batonnages were carried out on fine lees for 30 days.
