The San Valentino Magnum Red Puglia IGP Selection from Villa Schinosa is a limited production that showcases the uniqueness of an extraordinary blend of Nero di Troia, Merlot, and Syrah. This wine, characterized by the floral notes of violet from the Troia grape intertwined perfectly with the vegetal notes of Merlot, creates a unique and captivating olfactory profile, leading to an elegant and harmonious structure supported by refined and appealing tannins. Presented in a prestigious 1.5L magnum bottle, this wine is a testament to the winemaking mastery of Villa Schinosa, with a maturation of 24 months in medium-toasted French oak tonneaux followed by further bottle refinement. With a perfect balance between alcohol, acidity, tannins and residual sugars, this wine is ideal for pairing with intense dishes such as grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses, offering an unforgettable tasting experience. 50% Troia grapes, 35% Merlot, 15% Syrah


Selection of Troia grapes grown in sheet 55 parcel 17, Merlot grapes grown in sheet 55 parcel 11, and Syrah grapes grown in sheet 57 parcel 39, municipality of Trani. Vines trained on a spurred cordon on rich, clay soil with a density of 4500 plants per hectare.


Frequent pumping over for oxygenation and fermentation at a temperature of 22-25°C. Maceration takes place over a period of 10 days.


Aged for 24 months in 500L French oak tonneaux of medium toast. Further refinement in the bottle for a period of 12 months.

Sulfur dioxide (total/free): 120/20 mg/L
